This year 15 DanceRite pupils headed off to Bournemouth to
compete at the beautiful Pavilion ballroom. We had an early start
after a very full Saturday of private lessons, followed by a social
dance in the evening.
As soon as the social dance was over we all raced down the M3 to try
and check into the hotel before midnight. Getting to sleep wasn’t a
problem as we were shattered after such a long day.
The Pavilion doors opened at 9.00am prompt and everyone was very
excited at the prospect of being able to dance in such a beautiful
venue.
Fredric and I feel this fabulous environment must have made everyone
raise their game as super performances were given by everyone. The
following results reflect the strength of each and everyone’s
dancing:

4th place x 10
5th place x 1
Those who competed and did not make it through to the finals reached
the semi finals in at least one or more sections.
We are extremely proud of you all and can’t wait for the next event!
