Medal Presentation 2006
On Saturday the 20th May, DanceRite held its Adult medal presentation. The room was buzzing with lots of enthusiastic dancers all awaiting the presentation part of the evening. After the first half of the evening we broke for the presentations. Medals were presented from social dance test level through to the awards level so every spectrum of dance abilities was covered. Next we moved onto the DanceRite special awards. Traditionally this has only been awarded to one pupil a year but for the first time on this occasion we had two very deserving recipients who we could not split. Maureen Durn and Tracey Allen were very surprised and delighted to be the holders of this award, both of them have developed as dancers and helpers in our school and often going above and beyond in so many different ways.
After the presentation we all got down to some more dancing with great music being played by Fredric. The evening was a fantastic success and we are now looking forward to our American supper night to be held on the 24th June.
