No sooner had we returned from our summer break the Cambridge competition had arrived! This was a new experience for DanceRite as we hadn’t attended this event before.
It would be fair to say we all left in good time but as ever the M25 and (M11 for some) was against us! We all arrived a little late and frazzled and hurriedly prepared ourselves for the adult events. After some yoga breathing everyone was calm and ready to dance.
The events were all very busy and hotly contested as this is everyones last chance to qualify for the Grand Finals. We attended with a small elite team on this occasion and they all did amazingly well. Our new member Liz had a fantastic start with a 3rd in ballroom and 2nd in latin! Everyone made it to the semi finals and our finals tally of results is as follows;

We are very proud of our DanceRite team and can’t wait for the next challenge that awaits us all Blackpool. Work hard lovely dancers we really are in countdown mode!
