James shows off his Blue Peter badge

There were all smiles when one of our younger pupils opened a letter from the BBC the other day. James had been awarded a Blue Peter sports badge from BBC.

This summer BBC Sport teamed up with CBBC to launch the brand-new badge in a bid to inspire young people from six to 14 to get active and involved in sport and it also marked the Blue Peter badge’s 50th anniversary.

James had been awarded his badge for introducing a friend to our children’s class.
